Do you mean to tell me rottlady hasn't been a Guide forever? Calvin has proven by his tardiness in correcting the spellcheck that he is slow. He should have fingered rottlady for this task long ago.
And it is a task to be a guide. I wouldn't want to be honored with more work but a little recognition for what I am already doing would be all right. In rottlady's case she is now being given proper credentials for what she has been doing all along.

You are right in one respect Oldfogey, I have been trying to help folks out ever since I learned how to do things myself. I guess it's just my nature. Thanks for your kind words.
As for the tool bar, click where it says 'hide tools' (should be near the lower right side of the screen). That should get rid of most of the bar :)

Rottlady- Congratulations! I noticed your color had changed from friendly blue to the all knowing and powerfull gold of the vine sage. I am very happy about your new title because having friends in high places is always good. All kidding aside you are very good and this was a wise decision on the part of the Viny ones. JJ

Bitey, you feeling good this evening? I'm thinking about you all the time! :-)
Hi, Dowsie! So far, I'm holding my own. I still have a problem when I lie flat for any length of time. The fluid builds in my lungs, and the wheezing and crackling keep me awake and coughing until I get up and sit upright for awhile. So, until I have the valve replaced, I'll be having this issue. I have a BP cuff, and so far my BP has been well within normal range, although my pulse hasn't dipped below 85 since I've been home and off the oxygen. We've ordered one of those oxy-thingys (can't find one locally) to check oxygen saturation - but don't know if it will arrive before I have surgery. The reason I don't have oxygen now is that the saturation didn't go low enough the day I was discharged to qualify for insurance to pay for it. Of course, the day I was discharged I'd been on oxygen all day and lying in bed... not much chance to get the sat level very low! Ooops... sorry for the derail...
Thank you for the update, bitey. Insurance companies run the health care business-- which is all backwards. I hate those BP cuffs-- does yours blow up automatically every now and then? While in the hospital, I finally convinced them to put it on my leg-- every time it went off, I felt like my IV was going to pop out and shoot across the room, impaling someone! :-)
I would think that your heart is beating harder to get rid of the fluid-- mine does. I take Toprol, or a generic form thereof, to keep my heart from beating too fast. I was discharged Jan. 1, with a fist full of prescriptions, etc. Try getting anything filled on New Year's Day. HA! My poor husband had to drive all the way across town -- 45 minutes-- to find an open drug store...
All will be well, dearest bitey. Just a few more days and it will be over with. Then, you'll feel so much better! (after awhile, anyway.) My heart is with you, dearest bitey, my sweet friend. You are in my prayers all the time--

When I had the cardiac cath, the BP cuff was automatic; didn't bother me, but it was on the arm opposite the IV. The cuff I have at home, well... would you believe I bought it about a month ago, with no clue that I might actually need it??? That kind of prescience is almost spooky!
